Our coaching team brings together different backgrounds, a wealth of knowledge and a shared commitment to developing young players.
Michael
Michael’s experience includes years coaching within Manchester United Academy and his work with Blackburn Rovers. Alongside his academy background, he has delivered community football and coached internationally, including in South Africa, Botswana and Zambia. His approach brings those experiences together: ambitious coaching with an understanding of the children taking part.
Archie
Archie brings coaching experience at Burnley and Bury, alongside his work with MSSS UK, Rossendale Valley and Junior Hoops. His experience working with young players helps create an environment where children can get involved, grow in confidence and develop their football.
Mark
An A Licence coach, Mark brings extensive coaching experience and a strong understanding of player development. His knowledge helps shape sessions that challenge players, develop their understanding and encourage them to explore what they can do.
Our coaching team is also supported by enthusiastic younger coaches, bringing energy, encouragement and fresh ideas while developing their skills alongside our experienced team.
Good coaching, room to play
Experience matters in the moments that make up a session: knowing when to challenge, when to encourage and when to give a player time to work something out.
Our sessions give children opportunities to master the ball, take on an opponent, protect possession, combine with teammates and find a way to score.
Through games and adaptable challenges, players learn to look, think and act. They have the freedom to try something different—and another opportunity when it doesn’t come off.
